Assignment 5 & 6 Prototype for anytime a speaker attempts to persuade Assignment 5 – limits problems on a national level Assignment 6 – on an international level Problem, causes, solution Identify problem and then develop it Show how important the problem is - How many people is it effecting - The problem is increasing or getting bigger - Show the problem is harmful (loss of life, freedom, economic well-being) Pick one cause and show the solution Solution is going to overcome the cause and help reduce the solution There are personal policy solutions and public policy solutions. (only use public) There is no way of telling if the personal policy solution would work.
