I had trouble getting the generation onto the X-Axis, everything else is present and easily understandable and interpretable. d. Fitness for generation 3 was not present in the excel file uploaded on blackboard, could not graph. 2. Fitness values affected future generation numbers for both predator and prey. The knife predator died off in generation 3, and had been slowly declining in size since generation 1. If you look at the fitness of knife it keeps dropping until it no longer exists because there are no knifes left in the population. 3. . a. Yes changes were observed in all 3 predator phenotypes. The knife predator’s fitness decreased significantly because it had trouble obtaining food. The knives eventually died off.
