a. Describe three characteristics of the nature and activities of God as seen in the assigned passages. Support each characteristic with at least one quotation from scripture. God is all-knowing; the reasons for each thought and fear he is aware. He knows our hearts and nature. “And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever” Chronicles 28:9 (New International Version). Our god is a loving God. We were made in his likeness. I know how much I love my own children so the thought of Him giving his only Son for humankind is awe-inspiring. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him” (John 3:17).
