Morales Equilibrium Lab Purpose: In three different scenarios, observe how equilibrium can be attained. Hypothesis: No matter the displacement or the amount of weights, equilibrium can be achieved. Materials: Ruler Clamps Weights String Force Meter, GLX Procedure : First, set up the equipment. Then, for the first scenario, weigh the ruler and clamps. Then place the clamps on the ruler and place any given number of weights on them. The difficult part is achieving equilibrium (i.e. the ruler must be suspended off the ground). Then repeat for another 5 trials in different displacement points or weight values. Next, for the second scenario, tie a string on the suspended bar and place a force meter in each one. Plug in the force meter into the GLX. Next, tie the string onto the ruler on each end. Afterwards, like in the previous scenario, place 3 different weights and displacement positions for the next 6 trials. Lastly, the
