Advertising Time C. Listeners to advertisers Answer: C. You have to convince companies/organizations that you have listeners that can be reached by advertising. A and B are true, but C is the most important. Listeners attract advertisers advertisers buy advertising time to reach the listeners money gained from advertising funds entertainment TV stations are trying to reach specific demographics.- Network approach: decide quickly and cancel fast. If a program isnt attracting enough people or its attracting the wrong demographic, they will quickly cancel it. Must be able to show advertisers that they can benefit from buying advertising space. Commercial mass media have a dual nature.- Mass media technology provides a means of reaching a large number of people simultaneously.- Its an economical way of linking audiences with advertisers via television or radio....
