Ch. 9.6-8 farewell to our engineering friends … Chemistry 261 has ended. • non-covalent interactions • No reading quiz for Wednesday – reading quiz for Friday will cover Ch. 17 AD and Ch. 9.1-5 Midterm One • Tuesday, October 11, from 8-10 pm, 1800 Chemistry • Alternates – Starting at or after 4:00 pm (Mason Hall 3330)

Midterm One Specifics You must make choices on this exam. • 5 multiple choice questions – must complete all – 15 points • 5 basic questions – must complete three – 30 points • 4 competency questions – must complete two – 34 points • 2 mastery questions – must complete one – 21 points You are permitted to use one hand-crafted 8 ½ by 11 inch page (both front and back) of material during the exam. You must turn in this sheet with your exam. • You will be given a sheet of possibly useful constants, quantities and equations, as well as a periodic table. These have been posted on Ctools. • The exam begins at 8:00 pm. We are not on Michigan Time . • The exam will take approximately 120 min to complete • Exams will be returned in lecture the following week. Those in Chemistry 261 can retrieve exams from the box outside of 4828 Chemistry
