Conduct data analyses
1.
Copy and paste the following five variables into a separate workbook page in the following order: PHYS/MENTHLTH,
EMTSUPRT, LSATISFY, BMI, and AGE
2.
In Excel,
conduct descriptive statistics
for the following variables: PHYS/MENTHLTH, EMTSUPRT, LSATISFY, BMI, and AGE
To conduct descriptive statistics in Excel:
Go to “Data,” click on “Data Analysis,” & then choose “Descriptive Statistics”
Click into the “Input Range” box & then highlight the columns for the five variable of interest
Choose “Columns,” “Labels in first row,” and “Summary Statistics”
Copy & paste output to a Word document & save

In Excel,
conduct correlational analyses
for the following variables: PHYS/MENTHLTH, EMTSUPRT, LSATISFY, BMI, and AGE
How to conduct correlational analyses in Excel:
Go to “Data” then “Data Analysis” then “Correlation” and hit “OK”
Click into the “Input Range” box and then highlight the columns of the five variables
Make sure “Columns,” “Labels in First Row,” and “New Worksheet Ply” are all checked and hit “OK”
Copy & paste output to a Word document & save
