HW 10 Page 1 of 2 Homework 10. Linear Regression Conduct data analyses 1. Copy and paste the following five variables into a separate workbook page in the following order: PHYS/MENTHLTH, EMTSUPRT, LSATISFY, BMI, and AGE 2. Use Excel to conduct linear regression analyses predicting PHYS/MENTHLTH from the combination of EMTSUPRT, LSATISFY, BMI, and AGE How to conduct correlational analyses in Excel: Go to “Data” then “Data Analysis” then “ Regression ” and hit “OK” Click into the “Input Y Range” box and then highlight the actual rows for the column PHYS/MENTHLTH (e.g., \$A\$1:\$A\$758). (Highlighting the whole column will NOT work for Regression like it did for Correlation.) Click into the “Input X Range” box and then highlight the actual rows ACROSS the columns for the four IVs (e.g., \$B\$1:\$E\$758). (Highlighting the whole set of columns will NOT work for Regression like it did for Correlation.) Make sure “Labels” is checked, “Confidence Level” is “95 ,

### What students are saying

• As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

Kiran Temple University Fox School of Business ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

Dana University of Pennsylvania ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
