Unformatted text preview: HW 10 Page 1 of 2 Homework 10. Linear Regression Conduct data analyses 1. Copy and paste the following five variables into a separate workbook page in the following order: PHYS/MENTHLTH, EMTSUPRT, LSATISFY, BMI, and AGE 2. Use Excel to conduct linear regression analyses predicting PHYS/MENTHLTH from the combination of EMTSUPRT, LSATISFY, BMI, and AGE How to conduct correlational analyses in Excel: Go to “Data” then “Data Analysis” then “Regression” and hit “OK” Click into the “Input Y Range” box and then highlight the actual rows for the column PHYS/MENTHLTH (e.g., $A$1:$A$758). (Highlighting the whole column will NOT work for Regression like it did for Correlation.) Click into the “Input X Range” box and then highlight the actual rows ACROSS the columns for the four IVs (e.g., $B$1:$E$758). (Highlighting the whole set of columns will NOT work for Regression like it did for Correlation.) Make sure “Labels” is checked, “Confidence Level” is “95,” and “New Worksheet Ply” is checked and hit “OK”...
