Chewing gum is more than having something in your mouth, researches have demonstrated that chewing gum is beneficial for your health and has a physical and physcological impact. Credibility Material: Chewing gum was the once forbidden snack for every school age child. In the year of 2005, it was named the number one snack choice by Americans. New research indicates it may be good for a number of benefits. Preview: Now I will explain you the most important benefits of chewing a gum. BODY I. Reduces Symptoms of Stress A. relief stress Researchers have found that chewing gum reduces anxiety and improves alertness and performance. Chewing gum reduces level of cortisol, the hormones that makes us feel stressed. For example, another survey made by Dr Scholey indicated that “about 67 percent of athletes reduced sense of stress when she was chewing gum before sporting events,
