A manufacturer of felt-tip pens devel- oped three new methods to display its product in retail drugstores. Fifteen drugstores were selected for the study and assigned to the three treatments in a completely randomized, balanced design with 5 stores per treatment. Sales of the product using the current display were recorded in each store during a three-week baseline period. Then the new displays were installed, and the sales were recorded during the next 3 weeks.
