Alexis Mox CWV 101June 13, 2019 Jeff Jibben, Brian Robinson Benchmark - Gospel EssentialsChristian worldview is the way individuals who believe in Christ see the world. Worldviews are the framework or larger pictures that inform and form our perceptions of reality (Valk, 2012). For Christians, the perception of reality is that God is the creator of all things and that all praise is to be given to God for what he has given human kind. There are many different beliefs within Christianity on how god created the universe, or how to be a deserving Christian, but all Christians can agree that they have faith in the Lord. To better understand God’s roll in Christianity and Christian worldview we will first explore who Jesus is, his creations, and the sacrifices he made for his people. GodGod is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. All three divine persons make one spiritualGod. The 3 divine persons were all active in the creation of our universe. Because the Lord was here before creation he is our sovereign creator and it distinct from his creations (Lecture 2, 2017). Characteristics seen in God are that he is unchanging and eternal. God is also all- powerful, all-knowing, and all-present. Showing humans, he is personal God shows attributes that he is loving, good, faithful, jealous, and just. The creation by God was good and ordered. Humans on Earth are provided abundance for living well and living well is to live in relationship with the Creator (Valk, 2012). HumanityWhat is human nature, purpose and the root cause to all humanities problems? Human nature is what makes us distinctly human and different from other creatures of the world. Humannature allows humans the ability to reason and choose right from wrong. Of Gods creations, humans are the only species with this capability. Within Christian Worldview the two key factors of human nature are that humans were created in the image of god, and that humans will always be sinful by nature (Diffey, 2015). God created humans with a purpose. God placed humans on
