ARE 18 1-19-2011 Breach of Contract Business sues someone because of a broken contract. 1. one party does not fulfill their end of the contract. doesn't pay/doesnt provide the good or service. What is the difference between burglary and robbery? Robbery is from a person, burglary is from a car/building/not a person. Most crimes result in money owed. 1. Contract 2. Torte- latin for a wrong. Most torts are negligent torts. there are intentional torts. Assult is the fear that someone is going to batter someone else. Battery is when someone touches someone else and it is unwanted. Cases of Equity - people do not want money they want some sort of junction. cant or must do something! unlawful detainer- landlord can not evict or throw out a tenant. it is up to the sheriff to do so. Person doing the suing is called the Plaintiff. choose where to file the lawsuit. Pleadings- anything asked to the court Copy of complaint and a summons is to be delivered to the defendant.
