Unformatted text preview: SAS 15-A05, May 11, 2010, Reflective Writing #8 Many people say they would never take part in risky behaviors and that only people that dont know any better do them. However, that is not always the case. There is only one time I have hooked up with someone and not used a condom. I think the most logical explanation for this is the fact that we were both drunk and didnt think it would actually come to that. I wish I had a better explanation for why we didnt use one, but the only thing I can think of was simply that we werent thinking. Growing up, after I became sexually active, I always used condoms no matter whom it was I had sex with, but I think this was more because I was scared of becoming pregnant and not because of STIs. Now however, I know more about the risks and consequences of unprotected sex and I am glad that I have always used protection, other than that one time. I know for certain that that was a onetime slip up and I will never take part in that risky behavior...
