Chem 142A: Exam 1 Please read first: (a) Before starting, please check to see that your exam has 7 pages, which includes the periodic table and some constants at the back. (b) Fill in your name, section, and student number on Side 1 of the Answer Sheet . (c) To receive credit, you must mark Test Version B on Side 1 of the Answer Sheet . (d) This is a multiple-choice exam. Answer all questions on your Answer Sheet . (e) This exam is over at 9:20 AM. No answer sheet will be accepted after 9:20 AM. (f) When you are done with the exam, place your Answer Sheet in one of the stacks of Answer Sheets at the front of the room, and take the exam questions home with you. Do not open your packs until after you completely exit the room. (g) Note that the questions toward the end of the test count more points each, since they require more calculations and more knowledge.
