Suggested problems warm up with in chapter problems: suggested problems at the end of the chapter(which could appear on quizzes or tests): 32-35, 38, 39, 41, 43 all sections, 48, 49, 51-53, 55, 59, 61, and 67. Key concepts – nitriles, new reactions, addition/elimination reaction of RCOX (the better X is as a leaving group the more readily it can be “substituted”, but the mechanism is addition/elimination. All carboxyl derivatives can also be reduced with LiAlH 4 and add Grignards. Chap. 11, part 1
