March 3, 2011 Physics 114A - Review 03 2/56 Announcements  New seat assignments for Exam 3 are now posted on the doors  to this room.   Homework Assignment #8 is due at 11:59 PM on Thursday,  March 3 (tonight!). Homework Assignment #9 is due at 11:59  PM on Sunday, March 13.  There are still people who need to register their clickers.

March 3, 2011 Physics 114A - Review 03 3/56 About Exam 3 On Friday, March 4 (tomorrow) we will have Exam 3, which covers Walker, Chapters 9,  10 and 11 and my lectures 20-28. Exam 3 will have  assigned seating .  Find your seat assignment on the outer doors  of this room.  I will also bring a list. Exam 3 is closed-book, but you may bring with you  one page of notes  on a 8 ½ x11”  sheet of paper (both sides). Bring a  Scantron sheet  and a  scientific calculator  with good batteries.  Exam 3 will have a multiple-choice section (72 pts) based on questions taken from  homework, lecture example problems, and “two-dot” end-of-chapter problems in Walker. Exam 3 will have a free-response section (28 pts) based on “Conceptual Questions” from  end-of-chapter qualitative questions in Walker requiring written answers.
