Joe Lipsey III 4/11/2011 UC 275 Reflection 7 Last Thursday I made a visit to the Umma Museum on Central campus, across the street from the Union. Since it sits so close to Union I always tell myself to go inside and take around, but most of the time I do not find the time, or do not remember. Fortunately this reflection paper actually gave me a reason to make the overdue visit I was putting off for so long. After looking through the UM Events calendar the Korean Ceramics showing at the Umma Museum caught my interest. Looking at art is fun at times and it can open your mind to new ideas. It can also help you to see things from a different perspective. I felt the Korean Ceramics showing would give me the opportunity to open my mind both artistically and culturally. As I walked through the building, up the stairs and through the hall where the showing was being held, I was surprised at the amount of space that was in the room.
