A Humble Request By: Prabhleen Kaur If I asked you about your heart, what would you say? If I asked you, where would you start, do you give your all every day? This is how the world works, a fresh coat of paint to cover our shriveled lies. Something dark in the corner lurks, a blind for the tears we cry. If I gave you one more hour, what would you do with your priceless time? Would you shrivel like a dying flower, you know, fear isn’t a crime. You can discover all the wonders of the world,
and know all the words to a song. You can realize when time has twirled, but by then you might be too long. You can have nothing and yet still everything, and reach the highest peaks. You can’t possess the joy all these treasures bring, because without it you won’t have anything to seek. So let’s hear the cause, you must be able to desire. Can you break down the walls, to connect and inspire? If I hit the ball to the other side of the court on my mark, would you stand stunned and dazed?
