David Fink Professional Development Strategies - BA 2101, Section 008 Final Essay – 10/10/2011 Instructor: Dasha Boguslavskaya Major in success is a title that I thought would be uninspiring and just too over-friendly. I came to find out it was the complete opposite. A lot of the book deals with finding yourself and finding what you are passionate about. As a student that has no idea what I want to do with my life or what field I really want to get involved in, I was intrigued by what Patrick Combs had to say. Present society places so much weight on kid’s shoulders to go to college or get some kind of higher education. What Combs takes from this is to not just fill your mind with facts and figures but to fill yourself with passion, experiences, and to overall shape yourself. Many very successful people have never found what they were truly passionate about until they were out of school and if it wasn't for school they would never have found this. Patrick Combs quotes Vincent Van Gogh in saying: “Your profession is not what brings home your paycheck. Your profession is what you were put on earth to do with such passion and
