Write short answers in just five sentences 1. List out 5 stages in consumer decision-making process. The five stages in the consumer decision-making process are: 1. Innovators The innovators are ready to bear the risk of trying out a new product/idea. There are few in any community. 2. Early Adopters The early adopters are not that venturesome like innovators. Though they adopt products sufficiently early, they do it very but carefully. They become opinion leaders in their community. 3. Early Majority The early majority (much larger in number that the early adopters group) adopt new products ideas still later, but ahead of the average person in the community. 4. Late Majority The late majority are the cautious crowd. They will accept a product only when a big chunk of the community has already opted for it. 5. Laggards The laggards, the last group to try out a new product, are highly resistant to change, they are every traditional and adopt an innovation only when it has percolated the entire community of consumers. 2.
