Ans: Communication is the process of sharing, transfer of messages, facts, opinion, ideas or attitudes and emotions between a sender and receiver or between to or more people. Sharing or exchange is a two way process. Communication is a very important in all activities of life. There are following main entities involved in the communication: Sender – The person who originates the communication. Receiver – The person who receives the communication. Medium – The channel through which the communication is traveling. Content – Text Message, Voice, Actions etc. Sender and Receiver both are responsible for the effective communication. Sender is responsible for the effective communication because he is required to originate the communication. The origination process of communication involves various steps. Sender is responsible to format the message and deliver using the medium. If the sender is not delivering the message properly then the receiver cannot understand it. Similarly receiver is responsible for the effective communication because he is required to receive the communication. The receiving process of communication involves various steps, i.e., hearing and comprehending the received message. The receiver is responsible for properly hearing the message, if he is not attentive to during hearing process, the process does not work as effectively as it should have.
