Instructions for uploading your homework to Sakai: Either do Method 1 or Method 2. You will then have a doc, docx, or pdf file. Then upload your file to Sakai. Method 1. Type your homework into a Word file (as a .doc or .docx file) Method 2. Write your homework with pencil and paper. If you use Method 2, you must get your written homework into a Word or Adobe Acrobat file. Do Step 1 and Step 2A if you are creating a Word file. Do Step 1 and Step 2B if you are creating an Adobe Acrobat file. Step 1. Using a scanner, scan your pages, each page as a separate jpg or pdf file. You can either create one Word file or one Adobe Acrobat file that has all your scanned pages. Step 2A. You will create one Word (doc or docx) file that has all your scanned pages. Instructions for creating a Word file with all your scanned jpg files: Go into Word and use Insert Picture to get each jpg file into one Word file. Insert Picture brings the first scanned page of your homework in as a jpg file.
