Elementary algebra and other basic skills are helpful. Text : Excursions in Modern Mathematics, 7 th Edition, by Peter Tannenbaum. Overview : We will cover the following chapters, in this order: 1 (Voting), 2 (Power),4 (Apportionment), 3 (Sharing),10 (Money) ,5 (Getting Around), 6(Touring), 7(Networks), and 8(Scheduling).
