Donald Cooper 1. Jonah- Jonah disobeyed God’s command and God sent a storm in his wrath. Jonah then he asked to be thrown out into sea and was eaten by a sea monster. God answered Jonah’s prayers, and the sea monster spit him back out. 2. Abraham and the Sacrifice of Isaac- God instructed Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac. Abraham obeyed and because of that the lord sent an angel to restrain him and a ram to sacrifice in Isaac’s place. 3. Daniel- When Daniel, an important Jewish prophet, violated a Persian decree he was thrown into a den of lions. God sent an angel to shut the lions’ mouths and Daniel emerged unharmed. 4. Adam and Eve- Eve, tempted by a serpent, ate fruit from the forbidden tree of knowledge and fed some to Adam. God then expelled Adam and Eve from paradise. 5. Annunciation to Mary- The archangel Gabriel announces t Mary that she will give birth to God’s son Jesus. 6. Adoration of the Magi- A bright star alerts three wise men that Jesus has been born and they travel to greet him bringing precious gifts to the infant Jesus. 7. Keys to Peter- Jesus chooses Peter as his disciple and declares that Peter will be the rock on which his church will be built. He then gives Peter the keys of Heaven. 8. Entry into Jerusalem- The Sunday before his Crucifixion, Jesus rides on a donkey with his apostles. A crowd of people greets him enthusiastically. 9.
