CIS 4301 (Information & Database Systems I), Homework 5 - Programming Assignment Due date: 04 / 06 / 2010 Submit a soft copy through course tools by midnight March 25, 2010 This homework covers basic SQL querying capabilities. We have created a set of files for this homework. You will need some of them and some of them are just to help you get started. You can reach these files at http://www.cise.ufl.edu/ ~ tamer/teaching/ spring2010/other/hw5.tar . Make sure that you read the file “readme.doc” carefully. Assume that we have a relational database with the following relations. Course(courseid, coursename) Instructor(ufid, name, email) Student(ufid, name, email) Teaches(ufid, courseid, semester) Enroll(ufid, courseid, semester) Grades(ufid, courseid, semester, grade) The details of the attributes of these relations are given in the file “schemas.SQL”. You can use this file to create your tables. In the above database, “ufid” is the key of Student and Instructor relations. Clearly, a
