   The original Constitution is stored at the National  Archives in a vault designed to withstand a nuclear attack.  By reading this original parchment very carefully, one  can see that as brilliant as the framers were at designing  political institutions, they had occasional trouble with  spelling and grammar, such as writing “Pensylvania” in the  list of signatories, and using “it’s” where “its” is correct in  Article 1, Section 10 .  PS 12 Factoid
