Amanda MillerUNV-103July 31, 2020Sue SmallReflection: Personal Finance BasicsBased on the objectives and resources from this week’s assignments I feel the thing I learned is that there is a lot more to personal finance and financial literacy than I may have realized. I have often thought of myself as financially sound, however after reading this week’s resources, I realized I still have a lot to learn. I do well with my regular finances but could stand to learn more about investing and long-term financial success.I plan to use some of the various money saving ideas from the discussion board posts thatI read from my classmates and try to implement them in my life. I have never done the minus one approach. I also go through phases of impulse buying and have a bit of buyer’s remorse afterwards. I am trying to be more self-aware and really think about if it’s something I need or truly want before buying it.
