Unformatted text preview: Graphing Utility Instructions A graphing utility can be found at: http://www.math.purdue.edu/~cook INSTRUCTIONS: At this website (say to graph y=x^5 and y=5^x simultaneously): 1. Choose: Graphing functions (x functions) and scroll down to the “on screen” version of the application 2. Then click at the top line (header) of what you see and choose (by scrolling): multigraph utility 3. Click: clear all 4. Click: equalize 5. Fill in: y=x^5 6. Click on No. 1 and choose: No. 2 7. Fill in: y=5^x 8. Type in values for x min, xmax, ymin, ymax and view the graph. 9. Then change the values for these four numbers (including decimal places) as needed. ...
