If the project is to be shortened by four days, show which activities, in order of reduction, would be shortened and the resulting cost. Step 2: CP is still ACDFG, Crash C by 1 day at a cost of \$1,200. Step 3: Now we have two CPs: ACDFG and ABDFG. Since A & C have already been crashed down to the minimum, now we can crash D, F, or G. D & F both cost \$1,500 to crash, so choose either one. E.g. crash D by 1 day at a cost of \$1,500. Step 4: We still have two CPs: ACDFG and ABDFG. Now we crash F by 1 day at a cost of \$1,500.
