M. Ross. Available at the UW Bookstore, Feds Used Bookstore, or even chapters.ca. If you want, you can use the 8 th or 9 th edition. Web page (Desire2Learn): http://learn.uwaterloo.ca (you can log in using your Quest userid and password.) Course announcements, updates, assignments, solutions, tutorial problems, handouts, past tests/exams, and grades will be posted here. There is also a discussion board for course-related questions. Teaching Assistants : TAs’ emails and office hours for extra help will be announced in class and posted on the website. Tutorials: The tutorials are 4:30 – 5:20 or 3:30 – 4:20 on Mondays. They will be used to go over problems you will be given beforehand, which will be excellent preparation for assignments and tests. Since we will use class time for the tests, a few tutorials (2 or 3) will be used as lecture periods. Dates TBA.
