Evgeniy Bukatin Pr. Adou-Dy BUS 308 November 9, 2011 Chapter 11 – Case Incident 1. After considering this case, I am on Abdala's side. I think she crossed the line in the last two emails; however, she should not be punished for not accepting the job offer. 2. Both of the parties made mistakes in this case. I think Abdala did not really made a mistake by sending an e-mail if it was just a regular job offer, but if the firm was big and she would like to be in good terms with them, I think she should have called them before sending the email. I think Abdala made a mistake in the second e-mail that she sent. She crossed the line by saying: “A real lawyer would have put the contract into writing and not exercised any such reliance until he did so.” I understand that she was mad about his reply, but she should have just sent the first one and leave the case. The last e-mail that she sent was definitely inappropriate. Korman made a mistake in the way he replied to Abdala. I think he did not have to be that
