Claire Tu Professor Barbee Discussion 1C 3 February 2009 Education 92F Journal Entry #5 I’m already halfway through my first year of college! I can’t believe that the Spring 2010 Schedule of Classes is out already, and I am so excited to plan what classes to take next quarter. The quarter system is unbelievably fast, especially winter quarter. It’s already week five and I’ve just finished my first midterm of this quarter, and I’m pretty sure I aced it. However, Chemistry midterm is next Monday and I am not ready for it at all. Last week was really stressful; I literally locked myself in my room like a hermit and just studied all day. I only left my room to go to class or get food at either Rendezvous or BCafé. I started this quarter with high hopes of pulling a 4.0; however, as the days pass by and the stress begins to accumulate, I start to doubt myself. I don’t know if I have the endurance to last ten weeks. I complain that the quarter goes by too fast and not enough time to study, yet at the same time I feel completely burned out, hoping this quarter will
