Fundamentals of Financial Management, Concise 6th Edition, Brigham and Houston 2. Texas Instruments BAII Plus financial calculator i. You must use a financial calculator; all in class demonstrations will be using the TI BAII Plus. ii. A cell phone CANNOT be used for any reason Prerequisite: BUAD 2040 (or its equivalent) Course Objectives: 1. To present a cohesive approach to financial decision making based on the principle of shareholder maximization 2. To explore the principles of risk and return, risk adverse decision making, and the valuation of assets 3. To examine the concepts and methodology of long and short-term investment and financing decisions, and their effect on the firm 4. To integrate real and current business examples to illustrate a variety of financial practices and theory Class Behavior:
