Another way to look at problem 5 from the discussion. 5a) Show how to implement a J-K flip-flop starting with a D flip-flop. Fill in the chart based on the excitation function of a D flip-flop. JK (input) Q (PS) D (new input) NS 0- 0 0 1- 0 1 -1 1 0 _-0 1 1 Now fill in what the input for the D flip-flop must be given the excitation function of D, the present state (Q), and what the next state must be. This is just another way to look at how to organize and make the chart.
