Sub-station 1 Feeder #3 Existing system There weren’t any line sections that had a voltage drop which exceeded 8V. Future system There were two line sections which had voltage drops that were either 8V or exceeded 8V, namely LSN 6900.3 and 7800.0 The following is the cheapest means to solve the above-mentioned problem: Change LSN 6540.0 (which was 3φ, 1/0) to 3φ, 336 where 1/0 and 336 are wire sizes. New VD (section) = 0.535V Since s = 1 mile, cost for the above change is $36,000 Planned system forecast load
