Sub-station 2 Feeder #1 Existing system There weren’t any line sections that had a voltage drop which exceeded 8V. Future system There were two line sections which had voltage drops that were either 8V or exceeded 8V, namely LSN 7600and 7660.0 The following is the cheapest means to solve the above-mentioned problem: Change LSN 8200 (which was 3φ, 1/0) to 3φ, 4/0 where 1/0 and 4/0 are wire sizes. New VD (section) = 1.9 V Change LSN 8200.1 (which was 3φ, 1/0) to 3φ, 4/0 where 1/0 and 4/0 are wire sizes. New VD (section) = 1.4 V Voltage Conversion = \$4,800/mi [\$40.00/kw peak / UF of Distribution transformers]
