Assignments for majors Assignment 1: Getting to Know LeafLab: Measuring Photosynthetic Rate in Tomato Plants 1.1 Based on what you already know about photosynthesis, write a testable hypothesis to explain the influence of an increase in light intensity on the photosynthetic rate in tomato leaves. If the light intensity is increased then the photosynthetic rate in tomato leaves will increase. NOTE: after each change in the light intensity value, wait a few seconds for the blue line to stabilize before clicking “record.” 1.2 Attach your graph that shows your plot and a table with the intercept, slope, asymptote, and Error SS values (Tomato).
