I am a loser.” This is what Percy Jackson had always believed himself to be. However, unbeknownst to him, he was destined for great things. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is a film adaptation of the book series of Rick Riordan with the same title. It combines elements of Greek mythology with that of the modern era. At first glance, the movie is made in such way that it would cater to all audiences. It has incredible graphics and good computer generated effects that would tickle the visual and auditory senses of a person 7 to 70 years of age. However, the underlying lessons that it sends across is even greater. It teaches about the importance of family and friendship, as well as across is even greater....
