LET’S TRAVEL Travel Project for Money Management PART ONE – Road Trip Situation:   Your family of 2 adults and 2 students (ages 15 and 17) is planning a vacation.  The  vacation will last for 9 days/8 nights.  You have agreed to record all the data about the trip  including all expenses, attractions, lodging, etc.   You will:   travel by car have $2000 to cover  ALL  expenses see  three  major attractions during the trip stop and spend the night  two  times on the way and  once  on the return trip spend 5 nights at your final destination take  two  different routes:   one  going and  one  returning home drive a car that gets  19  miles to the gallon and has a  21  gallon tank (this means that you will have to   refill every 399 miles) use a sales tax rate of 6% Assignment:    Create a travel log for your trip.  Your travel log should contain at least 14 pages:
