Essentially the key components of social marketing programs are product, price, place, and promotion. Each different aspect provides a contribution designed to stress the point and trigger engagement from the targeted audience. In particular, pertaining my issue involving smoking and tobacco use, the key components would be product and place. I would need to implement banners, or generate media online via adds or set up outside or near smoke shops so that the targeted individuals can come in direct contact to see what the product and prevention method is I am hoping that they seek. Whether it be having certain facilities ban smoking from inor around their establishments or encouraging them to raise prices for tobacco products each component will provide a marketing tool to try to limit and seize the number of individuals
