An example for this would be the analog TV being converted to digital. In digital technology the data turns into numbers and then are stored on a digital device. One of the options available is the video and data can be directly encoded into the digital format and it usually does not need sampling. A Private Branch Exchange (PBX) is a telephone exchange that caters to a particular business or company. PBX allows the sharing of a single outgoing phone line by multiplexing a number of regular analog phones. In VoIP, the voice is sampled and transformed to a digital format and sent over the transmission medium. In todays world VOIP is becoming very popular on the internet.
