PURPOSE: To characterize an npn bipolar transistor and measure the dc operating point and the ac performance of a single-transistor amplifier. PROCEDURE: 1. Assemble circuit in Fig1. Use pot to very voltage from 0 to 10 V 2. Assemble circuit in Fig 2, first without capacitor a. Now disconnect and apply 0.2 Vpp sine @ l kHz b. Now connect the 10 µF at point E and apply 0.1 Vpp sine @ 1 kHz signal c.
