Institute for Policy Studies Johns Hopkins University 195.605 Statistical & Data Analysis for Policymaking I: Fall 2011 Professor Michael D. Giandrea Home email: Work email: Class Time: Wednesday, 5:15 to 7:45 Class Location: Hodson 210 This course is the first semester of a two-semester course sequence covering the core statistical techniques used in public policy analysis. Finally, the class will include problem sets to be done on the computer using Microsoft Excel and Stata. The aim of these exercises is to connect the concepts discussed in class with the tools of data analysis as it is conducted.
