David Coffman 9/16/2011 Bus 101 HB Odwalla Case study The key stakeholders in this case are the consumers and the shareholders. I think the consumers have a more at stake in this case than the stockholders do. This is because the consumers have their actual life at stake and the owners only can lose money. Anytime a stakeholder has their life at stake, then that stakeholder automatically becomes the primary stakeholder. The owners are also a key stakeholder because the stock took a large hit when the E. Coli outbreaks happened, and Odwalla issued a recall. The interest of the consumer is to have a healthy, nutritious, and safe product. Also, some of the consumers of Odwalla probably drink it because they know that Odwalla doesn’t add any preservatives. They like the idea that Odwalla uses organic material and they take extra care of their materials. The interests of the shareholders are to bring in money, but many owners may have some social interests in Odwalla. Since Odwalla is unlike other juice companies in terms of
