The essay "A Global Analysis of Culture" which is written by Alex Thio, a sociology professor of Ohio University deals with the subject of a cultural commonalities and individualities. The author briefly states cultural commonalities. The main reason of the cultural commonalities is the basic needs as human being are universally common to all human being in the world because these basic human needs emerge from the survival instinct, the spiritual experiences and the social relations. The common needs for all human being can be categorized into the basic human needs. However, the ways that these needs are practiced are very different from culture to culture. These differences are from cultural domains, which are also known as civilizations. The diversified cultural domains in or of themselves do not imply conflict or violence between difference cultures. They may initiate or open the hostilities among different cultures. As the world is more interactive and close to each other economically
