Experiment 5 Vector Addition Objective To add vectors graphically, analytically, and experimentally (using the force table). Theory Vectors are quantities with magnitude and direction, such as force, displacement and veloc- ity. They can be represented graphically by arrows that have a length proportional to the magnitude of the physical quantity they represent and the same direction. When vectors quantities are added care must be taken not to simply add the magnitudes of the quantities,
