Nicole Mazza Dr. Penelope Hope 4/5/11 Writing 105 Section 7 Cinderella The way I grew up along with most people my age would be with Disney’s Cinderella. Charles Perrault’s version comes close to Disney’s but he adds a little more into the relationship of the stepsisters and Cinderella. He also has her go to the ball a second time. In Bonnie Cullen’s explanation of Cinderella the one thing that caught my eye was that the first version that came about in China had the step mother eat fish and burry the bones. In which a guy comes and from the sky and advises her to find and save the bones and that will give her whatever she wants. The question that came to my mind was if that was the original version, how did Disney’s version get to what it is? She then goes to explain how through the century’s each version of the story changed from its original form. By what she explains, it seems as if the story moved with the times. When people were very into things in nature, that’s how the story began. The
