Nicole Mazza Students In transition September 18, 2011 Coming from the town of Bridgewater, whenever I used to ride down Easton Avenue, I could never see why anyone would want to go to Rutgers. It was too close to home, and a bunch of kids from my high school went there. That was until I made the wrong college decision and found myself hating the University of Rhode Island. Desperate to get out I turned to the State University of New Jersey. After getting accepted, I started to wonder if it was truly the best fit for me. I always wanted the opposite of everything it had to offer. My first big concern was the size. I couldn’t remember all the campuses let alone pick one to live on. Next were the busses. When I heard Rutgers students talk about the system it seemed like a messed up alphabet. Lastly, I heard so many stories on the “RU Screw” that I was nervous to even know what hard earned credits would transfer over and actually count. I thought a lot of these concerns would be alleviated when I went to my
