Richard Russ English 950 Instructor: Ben Kiely Important of Working While IN college Students are increasingly likely to work while in college. Since 1984 the fraction of college student aged 16-24 who work full-time or part-time has increase from 49 to 57 percent. Working while in college offer more than just the chance to make money, working helps to develop contact and references that will help you to observe different management styles, and allow you to practice good work ethic and develop leadership skills. It’s always a nice thing to have a little extra money to spend when most college students have the reputation for being perpetually broke. A Paycheck means a little more money to buy that TI 83 calculator for your calculus class that cost about one hundred and change. Also it a great way for college students to go out for lunch with their friend; instead of, killing themselves with ramen noodles with chicken, roast beef, and shrimp flavor seasons. If they are renting a place off campus, having a job is a good way to pay your monthly bills; as a matter of fact,
