The website even lists events such as conferences on climate change that people can attend. The websites target audience is simple, those who care. Global warming.org primarily targets those who are willing to take action. The website’s secondary audience is those who are looking to help familiarize themselves with the basic facts about global warming, and are looking to educate themselves. To help encourage its reader’s, most blogs on global warming.org list actions that can be taken by the average person to help combat global warming. Global warming.org is an effective website due to the fact that it not only helps to educate the average person, but knows how to present the reader with both sides of the argument without losing control over its audience. Global warming.org establishes credibility by presenting the reader with a plethora of videos, images, and pieces of legislation relating to global warming. This information is tailored towards why people must take action against global warming, as the videos and legislation focus on the benefits of taking action and why it must be done.
